The Desert Forge Foundation assists Veterans returning from service. Victor Versache is the Founder and CEO. Gerald Torres serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and as a volunteer. Veterans and struggling community members are take up working in agriculture, and entrepreneurship fostering comradery, and value as part of a community.  The program is called the Warrior Farmer Project!

“This immigration issue is a mess that is decades in the making,” according to immigration Attorney Phil Davies.  He is a Staff Attorney with Raices-The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services in San Antonio, TX.  Phil sheds some light on the overwhelming problem of thousands of foreign people wanting to immigrate to the United States. He said, “Right now, we have over 11 million illegal immigrants living in this country.” Phil has experience from both the government and the personal side of the immigration problem. He has worked for the US Department of Justice, and he now provides legal services with Raices directly to refugees and immigrants wanting to live in this country.
