Dustin is the Ministry Coordinator for Feed NM Kids and Homeless Outreach for Legacy Church. Thousands of children in New Mexico do not have food on the weekends. Working with schools in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Moriarity the past year, Dustin said, “The teachers have been amazing. Even we everything is shut down, teachers would come and pick up their (snack) packs. They knew the general area of town where their kids live, and they would go set up by the side of the street in their vehicles so families could come by a pick up their (snack) packs.” Go to https://www.legacychurchnm.com/ or https://feednmkids.com/ for more information.

Brian Cochran is a Certified Financial Planner and the President of John Moore Associates.  He points out in this episode, “80% of all wives will be widows. The average age of a widow is 55 years old. As financial advisors who follow scripture, we feel very called to care for this group.” The John Moore Associates website (https://www.johnmoore.com/insights/) is a great place to find FREE encouraging information about investing. Brian said, “Biblical Financial Planning is the continuous predetermined allocation of resources. When we can predetermine what we will do, we can trust principles and wisdom rather than just panic and make decisions largely just based on emotion.” Click on the links for more information.

Dr. Brian Nixon loves the beauty of God’s creation. He is also fascinated by how other artists observe and interpret beauty. Living in New Mexico, he and his wife Melanie make frequent trips to The City of Holy Faith (Santa Fe) to enjoy the rich culture, art, landscape, and food. Brian takes us on a tour of Santa Fe and shares his favorite things about “The City Different.” Brian says, “Santa Fe offers more high-quality art than almost any other small city in the country!”

Dr. Brian oversees Education and Publishing for Calvary Church. He is also a musician, author, husband, father, and grandfather.  Here is one of my favorite quotes from his Book Tilt: Finding Christ in Culture.” To take it deeper, God—in Christ—is present in people, places, things, and ideas. His fingerprints are extant throughout creation and culture, leaving signs of interaction and interest in individuals and things. And, like a good forensic scientist, humanity can discover those fingerprints grazed upon the world.”
