K-LYT Radio has a rich history as the first Contemporary Christian music station in the U.S. when it hit the airwaves in 1976. K-LYT is still running strong, branded now as Star-88.  K-LYT (Christian Broadcasting Academy) Alumni Steve McKee, former Program Manager Rudy Grande, and current KLYT/KNKT Radio Production and Community Liason Steve Reimann remember the early days of Christian Music with KLYT Radio. Rudy said, “Music has become a fabric in our lives. It is foundational to how we live life today!”

It’s a very insecure way for a child to grow up.” Many school districts are helping their students with meals during the week.
