Albuquerque Police Department Chief, Mike Geier, has announced his retirement. He leaves a team of dedicated officers committed to working with private citizens and the community to make Albuquerque a safe place to live and work. His personal friend, and President of America Prays, Brian Alarid,  joins Chief Geier to talk about how the faith community can support the police!  All month in September, KNKT Radio is airing interviews with members of the Albuquerque Police Department. The Fair Cares Wellness Drive event starts on Saturday, September 19, 2020, from 11:00, am to 5:00 pm at Expo NM (State Fairgrounds). Harvest Church, Awaken Church, Calvary Church, Vitalant, Convoy of Hope, Albertsons, McDonald’s, and the New Mexico Department of Health are hoping to provide fresh food to 1500 families. In addition to food, free flu shots will be offered, and the opportunity to donate blood will be available to everybody. Harvest Church Pastor Jason Dickenson, and Calvary Church Pastor, Matt Moffett are working with these dedicated partners to help families in need. If you know someone who may need assistance, please come by Expo New Mexico and pick up a box of food and deliver it to them!
