Steve Ulibarri is the Director of Development for El Ranchito de los Ninos in Los Lunas, NM.  Like most of our charities around the country, the safety measures now in place to protect us from COVID-19 Corona Virus, require the postponement of their annual fundraiser scheduled for March 21st called the SUN SAND & SURF; CHARITY CRUISE XIX. Steve gives us some insight into this faith-based children’s home, and he asks our listeners to support their work.

El Ranchito de los Niños is a children’s home dedicated to keeping sibling groups together who might otherwise be separated in foster care. The children are raised as a family in a rural farm setting. They are taught responsibility and educated as a means of building a foundation and breaking the cycle of poverty.  The home is a non-profit charity funded 100% by private donations, licensed by the State of NM CYFD and certified by the NM Christian Child Care Association.  El Ranchito considers all children regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, religion or disability.
