Shelley Repp is the Executive Director of the New Mexico Dream Center. Daily her team is out on the streets of Albuquerque trying to rescue minors from the enslavement of sex traffickers. Shelley said, “When someone is in a trafficking situation, they can not see out of it. You live in there until there is some interruption.” The New Mexico Dream Center wants to be that interruption of hope for these children. If you suspect a person is being trafficked, call 911. Awaken Church is a growing Christian Church community in Rio Rancho, NM. Co-Pastor, Justin Chaplin and his wife Deneen and Co-Pastor, Matt Flores, with his wife Krystal, talk about marriage and how God surrounds them with “people for their marriages” to strengthen their relationships and their ministry. Deneen said, “I used to think a healthy marriage was the absence of conflict, and that’s just not true. You have to be fighting toward something; it’s just learning not to fight with each other.”

Hope Christian Elementary, Middle, and High School have remained open with in-person learning and a thoughtful courageous plan for managing COVID-19 cases when they occur. Head of School Terry Heisey, Middle School Principal Connie Higgs, and High School Principal Linda Brazier detail the fruitful results of keeping the Hope Community together in person in 2020 and 2021. “Health” is an excellent way to describe the results of their response to the pandemic.
