Holly Slade is the Founder of Feed New Mexico Kids. She said, “Food insecurity has a simple but heartbreaking definition. It simply means that you don’t know where your next meal will be coming from. It’s a very insecure way for a child to grow up.” Many school districts are helping their students with meals during the week. Hope Christian School has been open successfully for in-person learning for the entire fall semester of 2020. The Head of School, Terry Heisey, and Kent Gray, Director of Facilities and Transportation, share their best practices for safely educating students and keeping staff and the community safe in the process.
