Wendy Miner, Artistic Director of The Performers Ballet and Jazz Company, visits with Jim about the upcoming presentation of “Christmas Joy” on December 14th and 15th at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Christmas Joy is the story of the birth of Jesus in ballet form.  This year is the 35th Anniversary of Performers Ballet Company’s Presentation of Christmas Joy! Most of the cast is made up of dancers from elementary age through high school.  Tickets are available now at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Box Office,  or by calling the NHCC box office at 505-724-4771.  Tickets are also available online at http://www.nhccnm.org.

The Flower Company in Scottsdale Village, is holding a food drive November 12th for Feed New Mexico Kids.  Owner, Adri Duran,  joins Feed New Mexico Kids Founder Holly Slade in studio to talk about the food drive. Adri has organized a  “scavenger hunt” for donors this weekend to make the food drive fun!  The Feed NM Kids food drive is 9:00 am to 1:00 pm this weekend at The Flower Company in Scottsdale Village Shopping Center located at 3107 Eubank NE Suite 22.
