Dr. James Spencer is a theologian and Christian leader who helps individuals and organizations ask and answer the necessary questions so that they can move from where they are to where God desires them to be.
He currently serves as President of D. L. Moody Center, an independent non-profit organization inspired by the life and ministry of Dwight Moody and dedicated to proclaiming the gospel and challenging God’s people to follow Jesus. In addition, he leads the Shine Bright Project which seeks to mobilize God’s people to be and make disciples.

Next Step Ministries serves the men of New Mexico through mentorship and rehabilitation programs. The men served by Next Step Ministries are, first, men who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Second, they are men who have stumbled in their lives, resulting in homelessness, substance abuse, incarceration, broken relationships, or perhaps long-term unemployment but who have taken significant steps toward stability and restoration.

Elma Reynolds of Joy Junction joins us for a ministry update. Joy Junction is a 501(c)3 faith-based church ministry, founded in 1986, that provides both emergency and short-term food, housing, and counseling for homeless men, women, and families. They are the largest shelter for families in the state, with the capacity to serve over 200,000 meals each year to men, women, and children.
