Founded in 1979, Joni and Friends ministers to people with disabilities. Providing wheelchairs and Bibles, as well as community and retreats, Joni and Friends works to extend a hand to those struggling with disabilities, showing them the love of Christ and equipping the Christian Church to mobilize to reach them.
Today, Mary Gray Perdue of Joni and Friends New Mexico joins us to talk about the ministry and their upcoming “Respite Night”- a night when volunteers take over the care of a person with a disabilite, allowing their family or care team members to attend to other things for the evening.
She also shares about the last respite night that was held.

For over 16-years Dr. Gary Byers and Dr. Steven Collins have been leading a team of archeologists at the Tall el-Hammam Excavation project, the site of the historic Sodom in the Jordan Valley.  The discoveries made at the site are amazing, and they illuminate the history recorded in the Bible.
