Nic McKinley served our county in the United States Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency for over 17 years. His experience includes six combat deployments into Afghanistan. During this time, he became aware of the atrocities that humans are capable of and the inadequate to nonexistent methods to eradicate the problems. Nic shares his hurts and hopes for the people he loves in Afghanistan as the US Military leaves the country. He explains the 20-year mission of US Forces in Afghanistan and how we ended up in the mess we are in today.
