Marcy is the New Mexico Operations Manager for Joni and Friends New Mexico. Paul Faculjak is the former Area Director and the instructor for the Beyond Suffering Class beginning on October 20, 2021. Paul will be answering questions like, “Have you ever suffered physically, emotionally, or spiritually and wondered why? Do you have family members or friends with disabilities and struggle to know what to say or how to act around them? Paul said, “This material is targeting Church leaders, Pastors, volunteers, and family members who want to understand God’s Word about suffering and disability, the Churches responsibility according to scripture, and then the practical tools and know-how to be inclusive individuals with disabilities.”
Marcy details how Joni and Friends are helping renew and refresh people living with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers with fun projects like the “Respite Night” and “Warrior Getaway” coming up. Respite Night is Friday night, October 15, 2021, at Grace Church. November 12-15, 2021, the ministry hosts a “Warrior Getaway” at Lonetree Camps in Capitan, NM.
