Summer 2020 was the first season in the history of Cliff’s Amusement Park that they were closed! Albuquerque missed Water Mania, Downdraft, the New Mexico Rattler, Cliff Hanger, and Fireball, to name a few of the thrilling rides families enjoy at Cliff’s Amusement Park. Co-Owner, Gary Hays, said he has not been provided with any data or supporting information from the State of New Mexico as to why the State Health Department has shut down Cliff’s Amusement Park. National data show amusement parks around the U.S. have been opened for several months without any substantial COVID-19 outbreaks. Gary’s goal for 2021 is to open the park as early in the spring as possible.
