The Lord graciously allowed us to finish 500 miles with great prayer, fellowship, and determination on trusting in Him & each other. The Lord added over $105.000.00 to bless Convoy of Hope and Teen Challenge of New Mexico.
Along the way was extreme heat and many road kill animals. There were times that I thought of raising the white flag and to give up, but it is amazing that you can push past the pain, just like how we can do far more in Christ. 2 Corinthians. 12:9 But he said to me “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The first day I had my right calf cause a problem with my knee to where at the end of 100 miles I could barley walk into the hotel. The next morning was very painful to get on my bike, After the first 20 miles it felt like a little knife was stabbing my knee through every pedal. Robert Bradford said, let me look at your leg and he pressed on some tendons with much pain. Then he said breath deep to release the pain. The pain subsided and I pedaled on and felt better as I went along. The thought of finishing the 500 miles seemed impossible with the pain on the first day, but then a brother came along with healing hands and helped me fight through the pain and I was able to finish the ride.
    To God be the Glory.
